Liturgical Dancers

The liturgical dancers, third grade to adult, gather the congregation in a spirit of worship and praise. They open the Eucharistic liturgical celebration with a dance before the Lord and continue to minister in dance throughout the celebration. Contact the parish office for more information.

Liturgical Drummers

The liturgical drummers range in age from third grade to adult. They gather the congregation in a spirit of worship and praise in the tradition of the African ancestors and elders of the church. They call the assembly to worship with an indication that a special celebration is about to begin. The use of the drums reminds us of God’s presence around us. The drums are made from the bark of a tree, covered with the skin of an animal and filled with the sounds that stimulate the rhythm and soulful movements of man in praise and thanksgiving for all God has done for us.

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13
